- Provide a benefit to member companies participating in shows
- Leverage IPDR position and capabilities to gain more attention at
less time/cost for participants
- Promote IPDR interoperability and IPDR Compliance to the gain of
IPDR members
Benefits for Participants
- Cheap presence in shows that might otherwise be infeasible.
- Full show presence with as little as ONE staffperson!
- Show fees less than the cost smallest booth.
- More traffic under your own name AND as IPDR
- Optionally: increase traffic through reduced-cost brochure advertising
Method
- Coordinate members to form-mini pavilions
- Mini-pavilion consists of 1-2 well-defined configurations:
- 3 members in a 10x10?
- 2 members in a 10x10?
- Offer shared, reusable infrastructure. E.g.:
- IPDR signage and "vertical presence"
- VOIP phones or other set-pieces for demos
- Rent booth and customize message on case-by-case according to the
participants
- E.g. Specific signs or demos might be tailored for wireless
versus optical events
- IPDR negotiates for members:
- Non-profit discount for brochure ads
- Floor listing for participants under company name AND under
IPDR name
- Special highlighting for booth and placement in exhibit area
if possible
- An IPDR staff person will attend each event
