  • Provide a benefit to member companies participating in shows
  • Leverage IPDR position and capabilities to gain more attention at less time/cost for participants
  • Promote IPDR interoperability and IPDR Compliance to the gain of IPDR members

Benefits for Participants

  • Cheap presence in shows that might otherwise be infeasible.
    • Full show presence with as little as ONE staffperson!
    • Show fees less than the cost smallest booth.
  • More traffic under your own name AND as IPDR
    • Optionally: increase traffic through reduced-cost brochure advertising

Method

  • Coordinate members to form-mini pavilions
  • Mini-pavilion consists of 1-2 well-defined configurations:
    • 3 members in a 10x10?
    • 2 members in a 10x10?
  • Offer shared, reusable infrastructure. E.g.:
    • IPDR signage and "vertical presence"
    • VOIP phones or other set-pieces for demos
  • Rent booth and customize message on case-by-case according to the participants
    • E.g. Specific signs or demos might be tailored for wireless versus optical events
  • IPDR negotiates for members:
    • Non-profit discount for brochure ads
    • Floor listing for participants under company name AND under IPDR name
    • Special highlighting for booth and placement in exhibit area if possible
  • An IPDR staff person will attend each event
