Qualified Products: Certification Process
This page describes the OSS/J Qualified Products certification process. Qualified Products are products that directly uses one or more OSS/J APIs. For a complete list of Qualified Products, please refer to the Certified Products table.
Requirements for the Submitting Company
- The selected OSS/J API has reached the Final Release stage, in the JCP process. The valid JCP versions for this category are:
- Final Release
- Maintenance Release
- The submitting company has to create a Web page with the following information:
- The name and version of the submitting company product
- The name and version of the OSS/J API(s) implemented by this product. This can be found under API Downloads
- A questionnaire for Qualified Product is available for each API. The submitting company has to go through the questionnaire for the API(s) they are using and to publish the answers as part of this Web page
- The submitting company has to submit the registration request form
- The submitting company must provide contact details information in order to maintain/update this Web link
Commitment of the Submitting Company
The submitting company must keep the reference to the OSS/J Web page alive. If this link is not reachable at a given time, the OSS/J Adoption team will contact the submitting company and ask to restore the link. If the link is not restored within 30 days, the OSS/J Web site will be updated by removing the reference to the submitting company.
